something of a strategy section. I'm ignoring robo because this upgrade isn't a stepping stone to it. I'm asking Glenn if he recalls a daily challenge where the first point in favor of this upgrade actually matters.

While the range in some scenarios can result in more hits on [[BFB (BTD5)|BFB]]s and the round 85 [[ZOMG (BTD5)|ZOMG]], Epic Range is often a redundant upgrade compared to its prior upgrade, as the further increased range without additional projectile speed to compensate results in the Super Monkey missing shots at the very edge of its range. A Super Monkey with [[Super Range (BTD5)|Super Range]] and a [[Monkey Beacon (BTD5)|Monkey Beacon]] on most tracks already has the range to reach the important chokepoints of the track, if not the whole thing.
