The Retribution Bloon is a type of Bloon in the Frontier Legends DLC for Bloons TD 6. It has 100 health, and every time it takes 5 instances of damage, it stuns the attacker for 1.5 seconds. When popped, it additionally stuns the tower that dealt the finishing blow for 6 seconds. Additionally, it has the same immunities as the BAD. When popped, it releases 4 Yellow Bloons and 2 Purple Bloons. It has the same Strong targeting priority as MOABs.
Tips
[edit | edit source]This section was last updated for: version 53.2
- Low damage, high projectile count towers are not recommended as Retribution Bloons make them near-unusable by frequently stunning them.
- High-damage instant abilities like a Ground Zero can instantly wipe out all Retribution Bloons on the field, allowing other towers to deal with the rest of the round.
- The 6 second stun is incredibly powerful and cannot be avoided, so towers that place track items that damage bloons even when stunned, like a Spiked Mines, or towers that create several subtowers to take stuns, like a Sentry Champion, are very useful.
- High projectile towers such as Bloonjitsu and Overdrive with the Friendly or Undertaker Trait can hit multiple Retributions with the zombie Bloons even after the tower gets stunned.
- If not using these kinds of towers, more than one tower should be relied on for damage to mitigate the effect of the stuns.
- Retribution Bloons are not very deadly alone due to their slow speed and low health at the stage of the game they show up, and their unique speed bracket means waiting out rounds can separate them from other bloons.
- Bloon Master Alchemist is not recommended because its shrink potions will be wasted.

Trivia
[edit | edit source]- Retribution Bloons cannot stun Paragons. Since Paragons are inaccessible in Frontier Legends, this behavior is only observable in Sandbox mode.
- Retribution Bloons are the only bloon to have damage stages indicated by a visual effect and not the bloon itself.
