9-inch nails^[sic] is the Monkey Engineer's path 2 tier 1 upgrade in Bloons TD 5. It increases the pierce of the Monkey Engineer's nail gun projectiles from 3 to 8 and allows them to damage frozen Bloons. It has no effect on Sentries.
