Blastapopoulos takes on the appearance of a red-orange [[MOAB-Class Bloon]] with red stripes and fins, splattered with molten lava, especially on its nose area. In the ''Bloons TD 5'' generation, its eyes are depicted as yellow and glowing, while in ''Bloons TD 6'' they are depicted as white with a purple outline.
Its Elite variant in ''Bloons TD 6'' is depicted with a more lavender tint, with its lava glowing an especially bright shade of lavender. In addition, it gains more fins, this time colored maroon. The center fins are depicted as emerging from standard orange lava.
