'''Icicle Impale''' is the [[Ice Monkey (BTD6)|Ice Monkey]]'s path 3 tier 5 [[upgrade]] in ''[[Bloons TD 6]]''. The main attack is improved to deal 50 damage to MOAB class bloons (from 10). It gains -25% attack cooldown (+33% attack speed) from the previous tier, +1 radius and can damage zebra/white bloons.

On top of those improvements, Icicle Impale is able to freeze MOAB class bloons and apply permafrost to them (if crosspathed with [[Permafrost (BTD6)|Permafrost]]) for half effectiveness (permanent -25% speed). A frozen [[ZOMG (BTD6)|ZOMG]] moves at half its base speed, and other [[MOAB-Class Bloon]]s (excluding the {{B|BAD|BTD6}}, which cannot be frozen) move at the speed of a base ZOMG.

Icicle Impale is a unique tower that performs a mix of support and damage, being especially strong against {{B|DDT|BTD6}}s while also neutralizing other non-BAD blimps relatively well. However, it faces fierce competition from {{B|Super Glue|BTD6}}, which replicates its functionality at a cheaper cost and pulls ahead when used with {{B|Sauda|BTD6}} or {{B|Pop and Awe|BTD6}}.

Icicle Impale is best paired with towers (both damage and support) that fare well on dense rounds (which it struggles to), such as {{B|MOAB Press|BTD6}} and {{B|Glaive Lord|BTD6}}. 0-2-5 is the superior crosspath, despite 2-0-5's Permafrost capabilities and innate DDT-freezing capability, due to 0-2-5 granting much-needed attack speed, pierce, and freeze duration. Use 2 {{B|Acidic Mixture Dip|BTD6}}s (both with only Icicle Impale in their range) and {{B|Radar Scanner|BTD6}} to allow the 0-2-5 Icicle Impale to handle DDTs.
