Avatar of Wrath was on the CHIMPS strategy recommendation list due to its strong synergy with Geraldo (with Sharpening Stone and Gerry's Fire). However, Geraldo nerfs have meant that Avatar of Wrath takes a hit, and it is now significantly weaker than it once was despite not being directly nerfed. While Obyn does still work alright with Avatar of Wrath, their synergy is not as strong as Avatar of Wrath's was with Geraldo. Obyn also has stronger synergies, such as with the newly buffed Archmage. Thus, Avatar of Wrath unfortunately is no longer good enough relative to other towers to crack the recommendation list.
