This Specialty Building is a great early game asset to improving the engineer and it's already excellent early game strength. The attack speed boost and ability for its attacks to pop Lead Bloons makes it useful in building up income for higher tier towers. Since engineers tend to fall off when entering the late 20s, one can easily transition to another strong tier 4 tower using the Bloon Trap to improve income, and then upgrade another engineer to an Overclock to boost the tier 4s power.
On the mobile version, the Super Sentries are the most important aspect of the building. With it enabled, a 1-0 engineer can last up to the round 24 camo on even the highest difficulties. Due to the error with cleansing foam, the upgrade becomes viable at popping spaced Rainbows and Ceramics, but the massive pierce consumption still holds it back. Another weakness of the Super Sentries is that they are produced at half the normal sentry's rate, which makes a Monkey Engineer heavy setup vulnerable to dense rushes of Bloons. Therefore, pair the Monkey Engineers with towers capable of supporting defenses against them such as a [[Glue Hose (BTD5)|Glue Hose]].
