During standard gameplay and during freeplay, pops put towards a specific tower will correlate 1:1 with the '''Pop Count''' statistic (seen after completing the round goal on any given difficulty or reaching a Game Over during freeplay). The Pop Count statistic does not scale equally with the given [[RBE]] or the '''Total Damage''' statistic, instead only incrementing when a bloon layer is popped, ceramic is destroyed, or MOAB-class bloon is taken down.  

As of [[Bloons TD 6 v51.0|v51.0]], regenerated layers from [[Regrow Bloon (BTD6)|Regrow Bloon]]s will add pops at a 1:1 ratio to Pop Count. Creating a regrow farm that can be defended for a substantial (or perhaps infinite) amount of time will allow a player to easily obtain the required pops to unlock the desired towers. A cheap way to create a regen farm is to farm until round 42, then use a [[Downdraft (BTD6)|Downdraft]] Heli to knockback, and an [[Ice Shards (BTD6)|Ice Shards]] alongside a [[Ring of Fire (BTD6)|Ring of Fire]] to clean up.

During games of [[Co-op (BTD6)|Co-op]], pops obtained will correlate to the total sum of bloons popped by all players . Players cannot obtain pops in the [[Content Browser]], Quests, or [[Race (BTD6)|Race]]s.
