{{main|Boss Bloon Event}}A weekly event where the players can fight a Boss Bloon in a specific map, which can feature Hero or Tower restrictions and challenge modifiers in order to win prizes such as [[Monkey Money]], [[Insta Monkey|Insta Monkeys]], [[Power|Powers]] and [[Medal|Medals]]. The players are given 39 rounds to prepare their defenses before the Boss arrives in Round 40 and, if defeated, it will appear again with greater strength (known as Tiers) in Rounds 60, 80, 100 and 120. Beating the Tier 5 boss grants Victory to the player but letting the boss reach the exit or failing to defeat it in 20 rounds will result on Defeat. Additional prizes can be earned if the player chooses to compete in Ranked Mode which uses one of three scoring types for the leaderboards: Fastest Time, Least Cash or Least Tiers. Defeating a Normal version of the Boss is needed before the players can fight the Elite version.
