Ghost Monkey is a Basic Power card in Bloons Card Storm, introduced in version 6.0. It reloads a target Monkey and gives it the Temporary keyword. It can target a Monkey that already has full ammo, which simply gives it the Temporary keyword. Monkeys that have an ammo stat and are already Temporary (e.g. Ceramic Glazing Kiln, Robo Monkey) simply reload.

The card artwork portrays a Ghost Monkey coming out of a Dart Monkey during the night.

Tips

  • This card has the same cost as Quick Reload and the same reloading effect, except it also makes the Monkey Temporary and has a different rarity and class. Therefore, Quick Reload is generally better for reloading your own Monkeys, but this card can also act as Monkey removal by being used on the opponent.
    • Note that human opponents may avoid letting the affected Monkey attack if the damage aspect is irrelevant. However, sometimes they will intentionally use up that Monkey's ammo if they want to follow up with Expert Negotiator next turn to claim one of your Monkeys.
  • Ammo removal cards such as Whoops and Ceasefire on the opponent's Monkeys can be used to allow Ghost Monkey to act like a true Monkey removal. Note that the real removal only occurs at the end of the owner's turn if the affected Temporary Monkey has no ammo.
  • The Temporary removal effect happens after Necromancers activate their On Turn End effect.
  • This card has no downside if used on a friendly Temporary Monkey. In particular, using it on Shinobi Tactics Ninja or Robo Monkey can get you a lot of value.
