Heavy Kylie boomerang hits MOAB-Class Bloons multiple times per throw and sometimes knocks them back a short way along the path.

MOAB Press is the Boomerang Monkey's path 3 tier 4 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It grants Boomerang Monkey a new Heavy Kylie attack, which is fired independently from the regular Kylie attack and has the ability to knockback MOAB-Class Bloons.

Mechanics

Heavy Kylie

The MOAB Press gains the Heavy Kylie attack. The Heavy Kylie has the following features:

• Can only target MOAB-Class Bloons which are not immune to knockback
• 1 damage
  • +4 MOAB-Class damage, for a total of 5
• 200 pierce (300 with Improved Rangs, 420 with Glaives)
• 10 second attack cooldown (8s with Faster Throwing, 6s with Faster Rangs)
• Normal type damage
• Pushes targets back
  • MOABs pushed by 2 Units (3 units with Glaives)
  • BFBs pushed by 1 unit (1.5 units with Glaives)
  • DDTs and ZOMGs pushed by 0.5 units (0.75 units with Glaives)
• Can rehit a target every 0.1 seconds

MOAB Press also has its ordinary Kylie attack, which remains unchanged from Kylie Boomerang, its predecessor.

Monkey Knowledge

Heavy Kylie's knockback is increased by 30% with Hard Press.

Strategy

MOAB Press is an excellent crowd control tower for dealing with late game MOAB-Class Bloons, most notably dense rounds (such as 94, 96, and 98). It knocks back large clumps of blimps, giving other towers more time to deal with them or recharge ability cooldowns. However, it provides relatively little utility against DDTs.

Multiple MOAB Presses can be obtained to specialize against dense rounds if the defense specifically struggles against them. It is best to pair MOAB Press with other stallers, like MOAB Glue, for even better stalling. 2-0-4 is the optimal crosspath for MOAB Press on maps with one entrance per round, as its pierce can be maximized on these maps, but 0-2-4 is better on maps with multiple entrances per round due to the extra pierce not being helpful on these maps and the ~66.66% attack speed boost from 0-2-4 outweighing the 50% increased knockback from 2-0-4 in this case.
