Cheap Starter is a Perk in Bloons TD 6. It reduces the cost of the first Monkey or Hero the player places by 25%.

- Cheap Starter lets you place heroes that are otherwise too expensive to start off with on round 1. It is more impactful when combined with
Hero Favors and 
More Cash to further reduce the cost of Heroes and increase starting cash, respectively.
- Aside from Heroes, it can also benefit the more expensive towers.
- Heli Pilot can start on Impoppable difficulty.
- Banana Farm and Monkey Village can start Medium difficulty. While these towers do not damage Bloons, they provide long term benefits and players can use their
Bonus Monkey! to defend the early waves.
