Mountain Terrain is a type of Terrain in Bloons Monkey City. Favoring the Ice Monkey and restricting most aerial towers, this alpine terrain type is one of the more common areas in the game.

Tracks

Note: due to a lack of distinct official names, this article uses popular community-created names for these tracks for the sake of familiarity.

Hallmarks of the tracks of this terrain type include varied elevation, relatively little water, and cosmetic snow coverage on certain areas. The tracks use a grey color scheme. Variety in map layouts is almost always provided by either long curves or acute angles, with not a single right angle to be seen.

Bloons enter the map from the south on a piece of elevated terrain before spiraling clockwise for two rotations to an exit in the north. The short gaps between the layers of the spiral support towers with small ranges.

The path begins in the southwest, going around first a circular peak in the southwest, than in the north, and finally one in the west. This is one of very few Bloons Monkey City maps to feature three distinct layers of elevation.

The path goes through a mountain pass by constantly making 180-degree turns. First it goes southeast by going horizontally, before going northeast with most of the path vertical.

True to its name, the track goes across the screen in a roundabout way that varies massively on small scales. The area to the north of the path is the cliff of a plateau, while the area to the south has lower elevation and features a lake that the path bends around.
