Bastion Horde
Found my page. If you want, you can tell me some tips that you’ve used and I can add it to a strategy page. I’m working on making strategy pages for as many of the individual towers as possible. Some of them I don’t (e.g., Wizards) or hardly ever (e.g., Banana Farms) use, so I won’t be able to do those. I’m terrible at Bosses (can’t beat anything above Tier 2) and Races, but I love Odysseys and Contested Territory. Still an amateur at the game but have played the franchise, namely BTD5, for a long time. My favorite towers are Buccaneers and Engineers, and my favorite Heroes are Churchill and Rosalia. Might as well post a few strategies here, too.
MOAB Madness w/ Glue Gunners
editI discovered an... unorthodox strategy for MOAB Madness that relies on Glue Gunners to carry you through to the BAD round, at which point you should sell the Glue Gunners and get the Anti-Bloon to attack the BADs. Here it is:
Step 1: Place a Glue Gunner under the first loop and upgrade to 5-2-0. South of that, place another Glue Gunner and upgrade to 0-2-4. Start Round 1.
Step 2: Start Round 2. Once you have the cash, buy Super Glue for the Relentless Glue Gunner. Place a Village next to the Bloon Solver and upgrade it to 3-2-0.
Step 3: Before Round 3 begins, buy a 2-3-0 Super Monkey and be sure to place it to the Village’s right. Run Round 3. Upgrade the Village to Primary Mentoring. Set Super’s targeting to First and Strong (doesn’t really matter which arm is which).
Step 4: Start Round 4. Upgrade the Super to Tech Terror ASAP and use its ability immediately.
Step 5: Sell everything but the Super Monkey and buy the Anti-Bloon. Use the leftover money to buy another Village (in the same spot as the old one) and upgrade it to 4-2-0. Get another Glue Gunner and upgrade it to 4-2-0. Make sure it’s in the same place as the old Bloon Solver. Start Round 5. Use the Anti-Bloon’s ability every time you can. Upgrade to Bloon Solver when possible. Put a Boomerang Monkey where the Super Glue was and make it 0-4-2. Upgrade to Permacharge when you use the Anti Bloon ability a second time. If you do it like I did, you’ll win with 90 lives left (I leaked a Rainbow).
Perfect 2TC
editMy definition of a perfect strategy for this is that it has fairly cheap prices, doesn’t require Activated Abilities, and doesn’t need water towers. I think this one is pretty good. Bear in mind that so far this only works on Logs (although, in fairness, it is often recommended to attempt this achievement on Logs).
Start with a Desperado, in the first enclosed rectangle, and put a Boomerang Monkey to its right, slightly downward. You need to go 2-2-0 for the Desperado and 2-0-2 for the Boomerang. You need Big Iron for Round 36, Twin Sixes for Round 47, and The Blazing Sun for Round 56 (to handle the fast camos). Otherwise, also get the Boomerang Monkey to MOAR Glaives. Save up for Glaive Lord (should have it by Round 68). Switch the Desperado to Strong targeting and Camo Prioritization for later rounds. After that you can just AFK until Round 99. During 99, wait until a camo regrow pink bloon gets past the Glaive Lord. Right as it reaches the Desperado’s range, switch the Desperado targeting to First. It’ll clean them all up. Switch it back to Strong for Round 100.
