Airburst Darts is the Monkey Sub's path 2 tier 2 upgrade in the mobile version of Bloons TD Battles. It reduces the pierce of the Monkey Sub's darts to 1 (which cannot be buffed) and causes them to split into three sub-projectiles when they collide with a Bloon or expire. The airburst darts deal 1 piercing-type damage, have 3 pierce (unaffected by Barbed Darts), and do not seek Bloons. This upgrade also reduces the lifespan of the main darts significantly, causing them to expire (and burst into sub-projectiles) earlier. Crosspathing with Submerge and Support or Reactor reduces the attack cooldown of its decamo pulses by ~0.333 seconds, effectively increasing its attack speed by 50% (125% overall in conjunction with Twin Guns).
