The '''Monkey Buccaneer''' is a [[Military]] [[tower]] in ''[[Bloons TD 6]]''. It [[attack]]s by firing heavy darts from its cannons, popping up to 4 [[Bloon]]s per dart. It normally only fires from one of its cannons at a time, but if another Bloon is in the line of fire of the other side's cannon whenever it's firing, it will fire from both cannons at the same time. It cannot damage [[Lead Bloon (BTD6)|Lead Bloon]]s, [[frozen]] Bloons, or [[Camo Bloon (BTD6)|Camo Bloon]]s without upgrades. It can be upgraded to shoot faster and launch attack planes, use cannons and hook in [[MOAB-Class Bloon|MOAB-class Bloons]], or generate [[cash]].

Being placeable only on water, the Monkey Buccaneer tends to be more limited in placement options than other DPS towers, but it excels on maps where the water allows it to consistently shoot from both sides at the same time (such as [[Ouch|#Ouch]] and [[Quad]]). It has good [[range]] and [[pierce]] for the base cost and a potent low-tier upgrade in [[Grape Shot (BTD6)|Grape Shot]]. [[Admiral Brickell (BTD6)|Admiral Brickell]] grants it powerful buffs and helps shore up its weakness to [[DDT (BTD6)|DDT]]s.

*Path 1's [[Destroyer (BTD6)|Destroyer]] is an early-midgame option that helps a lot against early [[MOAB|MOABs]] when [[crosspath]]ed with Grape Shot and synergizes very well with [[Berserker Brew (BTD6)|Berserker Brew]]. [[Aircraft Carrier (BTD6)|Aircraft Carrier]] and [[Carrier Flagship (BTD6)|Carrier Flagship]]'s planes are powerful but inconsistent, generally performing best on maps with only one active path at a time (such as [[Muddy Puddles]]), and Flagship's platforms and water tower buffs have niches in modes like [[Freeplay]] and [[Boss Bloon Event]]s.

*Path 2 is an earlygame group-popping option with Grape Shot and [[Cannon Ship (BTD6)|Cannon Ship]]. [[Monkey Pirates (BTD6)|Monkey Pirates]] is an alternative to Destroyer that is less effective at single targets, but makes up for it with its ability to delete smaller blimps. [[Pirate Lord (BTD6)|Pirate Lord]] excels at removing a lot of blimp RBE from late-game rounds and also generates some cash.

*Path 3 is an income option on top of earlygame damage output. [[Merchantman (BTD6)|Merchantman]] and [[Favored Trades (BTD6)|Favored Trades]] can combine with [[Trade Empire (BTD6)|Trade Empire]] to serve as an alternative to [[Banana Farm (BTD6)|Banana Farm]] setups on water-dominated maps, as well as building up a lot of Paragon power for [[Navarch of the Seas]]. Favored Trades and Trade Empire do increase damage output too, but not enough for it to be useful in [[CHIMPS]].
