The '''Heli Pilot''' is a [[Military]] [[tower]] in ''[[Bloons TD 6]]''. It hovers over the track, shoots darts at nearby [[Bloon|Bloons]] and has a movement speed of 40 units/s. Rather than targeting options, the player can choose movement options for the Heli: it can either follow the player's cursor, stay in one place, or move back and forth between two points. The darts cannot pop lead or frozen Bloons, and the Heli Pilot does not have innate camo detection. [[Rosalia (BTD6)|Rosalia]] can provide price discounts to Heli Pilots in her range.

Heli Pilot's high cost for controllable range and ignorance of obstacles lets it excel at mobility at the will of the player, being great for a variety of maps, especially excelling on one-lane-per-round map formats. On multi-lane maps with more than one active lane per round, it struggles on split lane maps but can still handle one region of the track at a time while other towers handle the other regions. The Heli's slow flight speed encourages positioning in advance of the Bloons and not chasing them reactively. Overall, the Heli excels as a support tower, or it can be used to actively carry a defense.
