ARBITR (short for Aerial Response Bloon Invasion Target Restrictor[1][2]) is a Large Bloon card in Bloons Card Storm, introduced in version 4.0. It is immobile, and while in play, it causes the opponent's Bloons at zero delay to remain at zero delay at the end of their turn instead of attacking the player. Affected Bloons have a red hand sign icon on top of them.

The card artwork depicts the ARBITR flying above a mountain range, blocking the path of three Pink Bloons.

  • Use the ARBITR to temporarily stop the opponent's board, gain turns to defend, and send your own counterrushes if possible. Control decks don't run this card due to its inability to stick on the field for long periods of time, since they often do not run other Bloons to serve as additional targets.
  • Don't get complacent with the ARBITR; the opponent may still try to pop or remove it.
    • Return to Sender is a common removal against this.
    • Robo Monkey with at least +25 ATK with all shots is enough to pop it in a single turn, unless the ARBITR has health buffs.
  • Some decks, including aggro decks, may add ARBITR as an anti-aggro Bloon. Have some Monkeys in a deck to avoid losing all aggression.
    • Ezili's Hex ability is an easy way against an ARBITR, removing it outright.
  • Bloon removers versus ARBITR include Return to Sender, Bloon Redirect (150 Health or less), Gwendolin's Extreme Heat, and Bloon Master Alchemist. MOAB Eliminator can also work in an emergency, but ensure Must Pop Bloons are out of the way first.
  • Health buffs (e.g. Improved Fortification and Booster Bloon) and Armor buffs (e.g. Lead Casing) allow the ARBITR to withstand more damage, but watch out for Bloon removal.
  • Not having a board clear may cause certain Bloons with On Turn End/Start effects (e.g. Steady Growth Bloon, Lead Coating Bloon) to actually benefit from the opposing ARBITR.

Update history

[edit | edit source]
  • Change Pre-emptive Strike now removes the effect of the ARBITR when it destroys it (bug fix)
  • Change Now animates when receiving a buff
  • Change Now displays an icon on opposing Bloons to indicate they are unable to attack
