Tech Bot Prime is more valuable than the cost of three [[Tech Bot (BTD6)|Tech Bot]]s if using for more than just automation of a single tower. It can also directly improve the strength of abilities if needed. Buy the upgrades after setting up a stable defense, as the added cost for utility or direct benefits is usually not worth making early-game harder.
 
For simply activating many abilities and nothing much else, use the following upgrades:
