As I can't fit in everything I want to say here, you might have good questions. Chase the answers and maybe you'll find the truth.
I have my own story to provide about Fandom, to make a showcase that Fandom has more problems than involving ad bloat. Namely that they will butt in on a single community's politics and enforce draconian punishments based on their "standards" that you could claim Light Yagami from Death Note to have. | I have my own story to provide about Fandom, to make a showcase that Fandom has more problems than involving ad bloat. Something I can point out is that the Bloons community has a track record of needless elitism, something that FlareBloons thankfully brings up on repeat occasion. Hopefully, Blooncyclopedia can provide a fresh start that can combat that and these other problems that I bring up. It just has to make sure it doesn't become robotic, is all. | Something I can point out is that the Bloons community has a track record of needless elitism, something that FlareBloons thankfully brings up on repeat occasion. ==Bluesky arbitrary suspension==
[[File:BlueskyDecon.png|thumb|Apparently, you can ban-evade on a new enough site just by registering at all the very day you even heard of it.]]
Around 6 AM PST on August 25, 2024, I saw that Blooncyclopedia had a link to their Bluesky account. I registered on Bluesky, wanting an actually halfway workable alternative to Twitter, but after making a couple of comments to test the waters, both of which involved me calling out "Mangs" for sexual assault, I was suddenly suspended, and at 7:04 AM PST, I received an email detailing why: allegedly, I had a previous account taken down for "harassment" and stricken with a permanent ban for that. This is a false accusation of ban evasion. At 7:11 AM PST, I sent my response, where I call out not only the ban evasion accusation, but the "harassment" accusation as well because I've been hit by that repeatedly by the supporters of "Mangs" who as I point out have already harassed ME. I determined from the latter that a human would have had to have been responsible and likely would still have been around for a response that was provided in less than 10 minutes, so at 7:34 AM PST, about 20 minutes after, I send another response making it clear that either they provide an acceptable reply by Noon PST, which they failed to do; or I bring out this issue more actively for more people to find out about it. Believe me when I say that giving them 4 1/2 hours to respond was lenient
I will admit that my second comment was absolutely snarky to say the least, but the person I was commenting toward was a key provider of false accusations toward Vic Mignogna, and I was calling out the damage that her false accusations toward people like Vic Mignogna and ChuggaaConroy have caused in battling ACTUAL remorseless sexual assailants like "Mangs" by confusing everything about the issue. Bluesky didn't care to see things like that at all, and instead opted to just censor me on sight, which is hypocritical in their blatant political bias that screams involvement of the exact opposite problem from people like "Mangs". There's no other explanation for this at the point. If there was, then the "harassment" accusation would be more direct which could try to make sense, not mentioned in passing in a ban evasion claim with a new site.
Further making the ban evasion accusation even more asinine is that my first comment called out the character limit per comment being inherited from Twitter to begin with. I suppose it might be possible that I could have been faking being unpleasantly surprised about that, but the fact of the matter is that that's a QOL issue that should have been taken out at square one for [https://slate.com/technology/2014/10/twitter-character-limits-make-the-social-network-more-toxic.html its innate toxicity that's been called out in the past], and it was off the topic of what I was responding to, a comment that "Mangs" was deservedly outed, which I was too busy basically saying "hear hear" toward.
This general issue is worth bringing up because Blooncyclopedia created an account a Bluesky account and is advertising it, and I figure I would try out Bluesky as another potential way to communicate my points. That's not going to get anywhere. For this, I am exposing their behaviors here, and I hope that Blooncyclopedia will take notes that Bluesky is not a suitable Twitter replacement whatsoever for the reasons that I have outlined.
