Unlike its predecessor ([[EZ Collect]]), Banana Salvage has genuine strategic value, with the extra sellback on a Farm potentially saving more cash than the costs of the first two bottom path upgrades. The greater expired autocollect value and Bank autocollects are simply for convenience. However, as a crosspath for any higher-tier Farm, Banana Salvage loses out on income-generating crosspaths, unless progressing past it for [[Marketplace (BTD6)|Marketplace]] and above.
To actually save more money from this upgrade, have enough cash for the first two bottom path upgrades ($650 on Medium), buy them, then sell the Farm. Currently (excluding non-income upgrades), only the 0-0-0 Farm loses more money than buying the upgrades.
