Tree Stump is a Beginner map in Bloons TD 6. It takes place in a wooded area in autumn, with a large tree stump in the center surrounded by three logs.

Layout

[edit | edit source]

On Tree Stump, Bloons enter from the top-left and exit at the right. The tree stump, 3 logs, and autumnal trees all block line-of-sight. Towers can be placed on the stump, where they are not blocked by any line-of-sight blockers. Bloons loop around the stump once and the top of the track is close to the stump, so towers placed on it also get good coverage.

Strategy

[edit | edit source]

With its above-average but spread-out track length and obstacles, Tree Stump is average in terms of Beginner maps' difficulty. The stump in the center is an optimal spot for most towers, as it gives good coverage and prevents line-of-sight issues. Most generic strategies work on Tree Stump, so it can be beaten using general guidelines listed below.

The stump in the center allows some towers to excel.

Bloon Exclusion Zone When placed on the stump, BEZ gains map-wide coverage and overcomes the spread-out nature of this map. With MIB, it wipes out the entire late-game with the 2-0-5 crosspath. Bloon Area Denial System, BEZ's previous upgrade, is a solid Tier 4 tower for the mid-game and can save up to BEZ while needing little additional help.
Comanche Commander Comanche Commander can likewise take advantage of the entire spread-out length of this map, maximizing its potential. With Geraldo's Sharpening Stone, his See Invisibility Potion, and Glue Storm (with the latter also granting DDT popping power), Comanche Commander does solid overall damage to all rounds.

Easter eggs

[edit | edit source]
  • Clicking or tapping on the axe causes it to chop the log.
  • Clicking or tapping on the mushrooms causes them to shake, and release spores if done repeatedly.
