Bloons TD (also called Bloons TD iOS to distinguish it from other games titled "Bloons TD" and to emphasize its exclusivity on iOS) is a mobile game in the Bloons TD series developed by Digital Goldfish and published by Ninja Kiwi on October 2009. It is based on Bloons Tower Defense 3, but remade in a new engine with redone graphics and additional content. This game is the basis for the PSP and DSi versions of BTD3.

The iOS version is 32-bit, and thus most devices cannot run it, as the game does not run on iOS 11 and above. Despite this, the game is still available for purchase on the app store on iOS 10 and earlier devices.

OpenFeint

[edit | edit source]

Bloons TD iOS formerly had achievements enabled through OpenFeint in Version 1.1. In addition, it also had leaderboards and chat enabled for OpenFeint.[2] This was removed in Version 1.2.1 with the shutdown of OpenFeint in 2012, indicated with the removal of the OpenFeint logo on the game's icon. If someone runs the 1.1 version of the game today, they cannot connect with OpenFeint, so OpenFeint features cannot be accessed.
