Reverse is a simple game mode that does not make a meaningful difference on most tracks. Since there are no tower restrictions, strategies that work for regular Medium games will also work here. Note that when playing past Round 60,  the following rounds are notably more difficult: 63 (densest clump goes first), 78 (Camo Ceramics begin), 95 (no round preparation).
