Faster Shooting is not efficient without additional upgrades, as its attack speed boost provides less damage increase per cost compared to the base Buccaneer. However, Faster Shooting is an excellent choice of crosspath for Grape Shot and its succeeding upgrades, as the attack speed boost is generally superior to increased pierce and Camo detection with the bottom crosspath. However, Long Range's pierce boost becomes superior in Race Events. Faster Shooting is not recommended for bottom-path Buccaneers, as they benefit far more from the increased number of projectiles from Grape Shot and more efficient damage of Hot Shot.
