Gwendolin is less flexible at dealing direct damage than [[Quincy (BCS)|Quincy]], but she compensates for this through her ability to damage bloons with On Fire effects and her unique synergies with other Monkeys. Gwendolin strategies benefit from all of her hero-exclusive cards, though [[Firestorm]] stands out for its cheap Gold cost and whole-screen damage without needing Bloontonium. Many of her other hero-exclusive cards assist at defensive combos against single Bloons, with [[Extreme Heat]] standing out for instakills and [[Gwen's Choice]] for extending her archetype coverage.
 
Although well-suited for midrange decks, aggro Gwendolin can still be used for the purposes of farming achievements, such as 100 wins with Gwendolin, by playing on [[Amelia's Adventure]]; otherwise, [[Quincy (BCS)|Quincy]] provides more efficient defense from Bloontonium.
