Therefore, it synergizes better with ATK buffs, such as [[Gwendolin (BCS)|Gwendolin]]'s Heat It Up, [[Zee Jay (BCS)|Zee Jay]]'s Rad Enhancements, and nearby [[Monkey Village (BCS)|Monkey Village]]s. However, it has 3 reload instead of 2.

The community playtesters for Version 5.2 proposed a rework to both Tack Sprayer and Elite Defender in an effort to limit Tack Sprayer's Zee Jay synergy but improve overall Defender bonuses of both Monkeys. Tack Sprayer had its ammo reduced (4 → 3) but ATK increased (25 → 30) along with increased Defender bonus (+15 → +20). Elite Defender's ammo was increased (3 → 4) but ATK decreased (50 → 35). After these reworks, both Monkeys have the same Defender damage.
