The attack speed buff is a useful way to increase the consistency the support attacks of Alchemist, which includes [[Berserker Brew (BTD6)|buff potions]], and [[Lead to Gold (BTD6)|Lead]] or [[Rubber to Gold (BTD6)|Rubber to Gold]] potions. However [[Transforming Tonic (BTD6)|Transforming Tonic]] is the upgrade that benefits the most from it as when the ability is active the high attack speed allows for many chances of triggering the crit chances, which massively increases the damage output of the tower.
