[edit | edit source]Starting at level 5, all Black Bloons, Zebra Bloons, and DDTs have a 50% chance for their immunity to explosion damage to be ignored when hit. This chance is applied separately for each Bloon hit by a source of explosion damage; for example, an explosion that hits two Black Bloons may damage one Black Bloon but not the other. This applies to projectiles that deal explosion-type damage, not just from Bomb Shooters and Mortar Monkeys, though it does not affect damage over time. Starting at level 19, this chance becomes guaranteed.
Abilities

Concussive Shell is unlocked at level 3. It fires a seeking projectile that targets the strongest Bloon on-screen, though it cannot target Camo Bloons unless Jones is granted Camo detection. The projectile can pass through line of sight blockers and through Bloons that are not the target. On impact, the explosion hits up to 48 Bloons in its radius, dealing 2 Unstoppable-type damage and stunning all non-BAD Bloons hit for 2 seconds. The ability cannot be activated if there are no targetable Bloons on-screen. It has a 16-second cooldown and a 5-second initial cooldown.

It can activate the abilities of MOAB Assassin and MOAB Eliminator even if there are no Bloons on-screen that they can target, though nothing happens upon doing so. It cannot activate the abilities of Artillery Battery or Pop and Awe if they are already active. It has a 30-second cooldown and no initial cooldown.
