'''Bounty Hunter''' is the [[Desperado (BTD6)|Desperado]]'s path 2 tier 4 [[upgrade]] in ''[[Bloons TD 6]]''. It increases the [[damage]] of its pistol from 6 to 12 and grants it +12 damage to [[Ceramic Bloon (BTD6)|Ceramic Bloon]]s, increases the damage of its rifle attack from 12 to 24 and damage to [[Fortified Bloon (BTD6)|Fortified Bloon]]s from +12 to +24, and unlocks a non-damaging attack that places marks on Bloons, the Marked to Pop [[Activated Ability]], and an improved version of the Take Aim ability. If at least one Bounty Hunter is present, it grants all Desperados the capability to prioritize marked Bloons.

The marking attack places a mark on a target Bloon every 9 seconds. Marked Bloons take double damage from Desperados and give twice as much [[cash]] per pop (affected by cash per pop modifiers in later [[round]]s), but it only affects one layer. It can affect [[MOAB-Class Bloon]]s, though they do not display any visual indication that they are affected. This attack is affected by [[attack speed]] modifiers, but cannot have its attack speed reduced to be below 9 seconds. It has the same range as the rifle and is active regardless of which weapon the Desperado is currently using.

Marked to Pop is an [[Activated Ability]] that temporarily stops all the Desperado's other attacks, switching it to a non-damaging attack that rapidly marks Bloons for 2 seconds (marking up to 30 Bloons without any attack speed modifiers), then switching it to an attack that rapidly attacks only marked Bloons for 1 second, before returning it to using its other attacks. Both attacks have infinite [[range]], but can only target Bloons within [[line of sight]]. The second attack deals 30 damage per hit (before the damage multiplier from being marked), can damage all Bloon types, and has a chance to [[crit]] for 4× damage (like all attacks with [[Bullseye (BTD6)|Bullseye]]).

Bounty Hunter has decent single-target and support for its cost. The marked status helps Desperadoes deal much more damage to single bloons, such as the single blimps on Rounds 60, 80, and 100. Setting on Strong is usually better, so the marked status can target the strongest Bloons and the rifle can take advantage of its high damage. Marked to Pop ability has a fair amount of burst damage. The improved Take Aim's bigger range is best applied on single towers that need very wide coverage for a while, and the capability to pop Black, White, and Purple Bloons is most effective on towers with these specific weaknesses, such as [[The Biggest One (BTD6)|The Biggest One]] (versus DDTs), [[Recursive Cluster (BTD6)|Recursive Cluster]], [[Arctic Knight]], and [[Ring of Fire (BTD6)|Ring of Fire]], in addition to temporary camo detection.

2-4-0 is usually better crosspath due to its large synergy with [[Quickdraw (BTD6)|Quickdraw]]'s speed buffs when attacking far targets, plus better single-target damage via [[Standoff]], compared to 0-4-2 which doesn't tend to have as much overall attack speed.
