The Ice Monkey (Ice Tower prior to Bloons TD 6) is a Monkey that freezes bloons in an area around it. It was introduced in Bloons Tower Defense, and has been included in every Bloons TD game since.

In Bloons TD 4, the Ice Tower has a single upgrade path that improves its freezing attack and eventually gain a slowing aura.
In Bloons TD 5, Bloons TD 5 Deluxe, the mobile version of BTD5, Bloons TD Battles, the multiplatform version of BTDB, and Bloons Monkey City, the Ice Tower has two upgrade paths.
