Ezili (BTD6): Difference between revisions
Qwertyxp2000 (talk | contribs) added the lede. For the MOAB Hex, mentioning the lvl20 effect was a meaningful effort, unlike with sactotem lvl16 which just described longer lifespan and less cost of lives, or lvl12 growblock longer and faster cooldown. lvl4 not sure, but still worth a mention? dunno |

Overall, Ezili is niche but very effective in game modes that allow her abilities to be maximized. She is one of the best Heroes in deep Freeplay, rivalling Adora (who buffs Temples), due to her level 20 MOAB Hex scaling damage on BADs, in addition to her Sacrificial Totem's various buffs. She's good in CHIMPS when using MOAB Hex's chained damage across blimps.

For the same reason, most normal buffs are not effective on her, since her base damages are high and come in form of damage over time. She gets way stronger with cooldown reduction buffs (Energizer, The Final Harmonic), though, because of her MOAB Hex ability (and Totem to some extent). | For the same reason, most normal buffs are not effective on her, since her base damages are high and come in form of damage over time. The main usefulness of Ezili on early game comes from being able to see camo at all levels, and being able to pop all Bloon types (she can always pop lead with her base attack, and purple when Heartstopper ability is active). She is able to take care of all camos and leads until round 36 on most single lane maps. This ability to pop all Bloon types (including camo) is even more useful in the Alternate Bloons Rounds mode, where these types of Bloons spawn on much earlier rounds than normal. | The main usefulness of Ezili on early game comes from being able to see camo at all levels, and being able to pop all Bloon types (she can always pop lead with her base attack, and purple when Heartstopper ability is active). Due to her being the 2nd cheapest hero (tied with Sauda, more expensive than Quincy), it is easy to get her early (she can even be used as starting tower on most easier maps).

DDTs are a big Ezili weakness because they are fast and all Ezili damage is dealt over time. MOAB Hex ability also does not help since it deals % max HP and DDTs don't spawn much insides. Even though she can't deal with DDTs by herself, she is great at supporting other towers at dealing with DDTs, since she is able to decamo all of them with her base attack (because it has a big radius and good pierce), or, if she is not in range, she can grant camo detection with her totem. | DDTs are a big Ezili weakness because they are fast and all Ezili damage is dealt over time. Ezili is the one of the best heroes at trying to get to highest possible round in almost any situation (map, challenge...), mainly because of the extreme value MOAB Hex provides at clearing several BADs and fortified BADs per round. The totem is also useful (outside of CHIMPS), so it is recommended to have some lives stored to be able to use it regularly when rounds get more difficult. Since most of Ezili strength in freeplay comes in form of abilities, it is important to have at least Energizer (which should be included in almost all setups anyways), and The Final Harmonic if possible. Both cooldown reduction buffs with monkey knowledge give slightly more than 100% uptime to Hex and Totem. | Ezili is the one of the best heroes at trying to get to highest possible round in almost any situation (map, challenge, etc...), mainly because of the extreme value MOAB Hex provides at clearing several BADs and fortified BADs per round. Selling Ezili does not get rid of the Hex effect. That allows for having more than one Hex on the screen at the same time (by selling and rebuying Ezili to level 20 quickly, since buying level 20 puts Hex ability at 0s cooldown). MOAB Hex cannot target an already hexed target. The hex will only bounce if there currently is Ezili on the map and she has used one of her own MOAB Hex (the way it works is that all hex can bounce for 25s after using the ability, which is the same duration as one MOAB Hex). There is a bug that when multiple hexes are on screen, the Hex will target close instead of Ezili's targeting, which may be problematic.main strategy | Selling Ezili does not get rid of the Hex effect.
