The Range of a tower is the gray circle that limits where towers can attack (with some exceptions). All Towers have a designated range, including the Banana Farm and Monkey Ace (BTD6).
Dummy Range
Some global range towers, like the Sniper Monkey (BTD6), only have a small gray circle indicating its "dummy range", while their true range is infinite (albeit with Line of sight restrictions). This dummy range is shared with towers like Advanced Intel (BTD6).
Multiple Range
Some towers, like the Beast Handler (BTD6), have two different ranges. This is because the beast re-positioning range is larger than the Beast Handler's attack range.
