The Big One is the Mortar Monkey's path 1 tier 4 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It increases the main explosion's radius by 20 and damage from 3 to 8, shockwave's radius by 30 and damage from 1 to 2 (with another +2 damage to Ceramics, and stun explosion's radius by 10 and stun duration from 0.5 seconds to 0.75 seconds. The shockwave gains the ability to pop all Bloon types, but the other explosions remain unable to pop Black Bloons. The total pierce of each shot is increased from 45 to 85.
With the 4-0-2 crosspath, the Burny Stuff burn damage is increased from 2 to 7.

Strategy
The Big One is a decent mid-game tower, being able to take down dense Ceramic clumps and do slight MOAB damage at a relatively high price. 4-2-0 is more reliable and is recommended on shorter or simultaneously multi-lane maps, but 4-0-2 does more raw damage, can take down pre-Round 81 Ceramics (including Fortified) in one hit with Burny Stuff, and is recommended in other cases. The main blast cannot pop Black Bloons, so Striker Jones is strongly recommended for it. Super Ceramics start appearing on Round 81, greatly reducing the viability of The Big One starting there.

Mortar’s Faster Reload feels like a ‘required’ as a crosspath with Burny Stuff never scaling well on any path but it’s own. We like choices not requirements so to counter this we have made Burny Stuff scale with top-path damage & shifted a small amount of the speed from Faster Reload onto the base mortar and reduced base accuracy considerably.

We felt like we set up the math quite well with Mortar changes last update, but regardless of this missed shots due to inaccuracy vs. attack speed turned out to be unpopular and impacted the middle path too severely. Fortunately this change led to the community finding some critical bugs in the middle path upgrades there since Mortar’s release! That said, since low tier Mortars were never powerful we chose to leave the speed buff from last update but revert the accuracy nerf.
