Juggernaut Max is a character that is intended for clearing swarms of mid range bloons with ease but struggles somewhat against stronger bloons. Because generally any defense that can shred MOABs easily will also destroy swarms of Ceramic Bloons with ease, and because Juggernaut Max without many upgrades is not a very effective anti-swarm character, Juggernaut Max is instead relegated as a sub par late game DPS with light support capabilities through Gumballs or Snowballs for slowing/freezing DDTs and ZOMGs. His Juggernaut upgrade makes Juggernaut Max stronger against Ceramics and MOAB-Class bloons, and his level 10 bonus further cements him as an anti-MOAB DPS because of its additional fortified damage.

Because of the amount of damage an individual shot does against MOABs, stacking as much speed is recommended. The usual speed trinkets such as Baker's Shard, Heart Gauntlets, among others are recommended, while his weapon should be Splodey Darts for the most speed possible. If no external camo detection is available, Glasses of Nerdicon is useful for providing Juggernaut Max with more range and camo detection for DDTs. Otherwise, Juggernaut Max is usually only ran for his Tech Terrors, and his own damage output, while helpful, is not that crucial for a setup.
