Cluster Bombs is a consistent way to deal with early spaced Bloons when playing Bomb strategies. Its advantage compared to other Round 3-8 carries is that it has no trouble once crosspathed for those rounds, only needs a little extra for Spaced Zebras on Round 9, and works very well on wide bends with good coverage, such as in [[COBRA Command]] (especially the Reverse variant, which is less liable to layering). Just like [[Glaive Ricochet (Battles 2)|Glaive Ricochet]], even [[M.O.A.R Glaives (Battles 2)|M.O.A.R Glaives]], it struggles against Spaced Ceramics with just one; two of them can be decent, but they still might struggle against large enough Grouped Ceramics. One isn't enough versus Regrow Rainbows, but two have no trouble if bought soon enough and accounting for the slow cooldown between shots.

2-0-3 is the preferred crosspath. Go 1-0-3 first to get the extra radius and pierce to make it barely get through most rushes before buying the more expensive [[Heavy Bombs (Battles 2)|Heavy Bombs]] upgrade. It may help to use a cheap early-game Hero like normal [[Quincy (Battles 2)|Quincy]] (not [[Cyber Quincy (Battles 2)|Cyber Quincy]], since Bomb usually has lower weaknesses to groups) to get through its weaknesses to Spaced Bloon rushes.

0-2-3 is faster but less consistent and more prone to layering, with its lower pierce value being especially inferior to the double pierce and damage from 2-0-3. It's still better against spaced rushes, however, but that crosspath is greatly outclassed by other methods such as [[Dart Monkey (Battles 2)|Dart Monkey]]s.
