Laser Blasts is the Super Monkey's path 1 tier 1 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It increases the pierce of the Super Monkey's projectiles by 1. It also changes their damage type to Energy, which grants the ability to pop Frozen Bloons, but no longer pop Purple Bloons. Projectile size also increases from 2 to 5. The Super Monkey's line of sight is also slightly elevated.

Strategy
The only purpose of Laser Blasts is to pop Frozen Bloons, or act as a stepping stone into Plasma Blasts. Extra pierce is more cost-efficient with Super Range (on Medium, $1500 instead of $2000), extra projectile size is not impactful enough to be worth it, and the loss of Purple-popping can be detrimental.
