Crossbow is the Dart Monkey's path 3 tier 3 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It replaces the Dart Monkey's darts with a crossbow, which has longer range and fires bolts that deal 3 damage instead of 1, can pop up to 3 Bloons at once instead of 2, and travel slightly faster and further.
With, Sharp Shots, shots gain +3 pierce, plus another +3 pierce (total of +6 pierce) with Razor Sharp Shots.

Strategy

Crossbow is a decent early-game tower, with its main role being defeating early-game Camo Bloons. On easier maps, it can solo all Camos that spawn before Round 40 outside Alternate Bloons Rounds. However, it is not as useful on Expert maps, where the lack of straight lines makes its shots miss frequently and prevent it from maximizing its pierce. 0-2-3 is the optimal crosspath, as the reliability and greater single-target damage from the extra attack speed outweigh the importance of extra pierce.
