→Strategy: can't think of a use case for 0-5-2 but it looks cool with the ability burn and main attack burn. I could think of those cases with maybe spreading the fire around the bloons, but it's also quite pierce-deficient, and even the ability burn is not much for Harmonic (216 damage with ability burn 36d/1.25s for 7.5s), hell even the blazing sun is way better for that

Pop and Awe is among the strongest Tier 5 upgrades for its cost, being one of the top options for CHIMPS. The 4× attack speed and extra damage bonuses greatly increase its damage output, allowing it to sweep through the late-game.

It is especially powerful on maps with optimal loops, such as Moon Landing and Dark Path. Generally, target the blast on the best loop, and if none is available, target it on the most frontal clump of Bloons/blimps. The 2-5-0 crosspath is optimal for increased damage, pierce, and blast radius. Towers that stun blimps, such as Relentless Glue, greatly aid Pop and Awe thanks to allowing it to utilize its extreme bonus damage to stunned Bloons/blimps. Striker Jones is the best hero for it, thanks to his plethora of buffs to Mortars and Concussive Shell stun granting bonus stunned damage. Use its ability when there are many large and dangerous clumps of Bloons/blimps or many DDTs on the screen. Towers that can clean up Bloons that leak, such as Perma-Spike, are recommended in combination with Pop and Awe. Use MOAB Eliminator or Spike Storm to help out against the round 100 BAD.

The 2-5-0 crosspath is optimal for increased damage, pierce, and blast radius, allowing its main attack to reliably deal with large clumps on hyperdense rounds, especially while its ability is on cooldown. 0-5-2, while its residual damage is okay, is not worth giving up the consistent DPS of 2-5-0.
