Arenas are the core progression system in Bloons TD Battles 2 and Bloons TD Battles 2+. They consist of groups of players categorized approximately by skill rating, with players only being allowed to battle against other players in their respective arena. Players are also divided into Leagues within their arena, and compete for Trophies to promote or demote to nearby Arenas. Additionally, Arenas each have their own medals which are unlocked at the end of a season based on the highest arena that player reached that season. These medals feature the Arena's corresponding Bloon type as well as the season in which the medal was obtained.
Arenas are also visible in Clan Wars, with different Medallion requirements depending on the rank of the arena.
List of Arenas
| This section is incomplete. You can help out by expanding it. The editor who added this notice elaborates: demotion requirements in each arena above yellow stadium (outside of being inactive in a league) |
Red Bloon Camp

The Red Bloon Camp is the first arena in the game, and is the arena all new players begin at. Bloon Mods are disabled, and instead of competing in a proper league, players must simply reach 20 Trophies to progress to Yellow Stadium.
Yellow Stadium

The Yellow Stadium is the second arena, unlocked upon reaching 30 trophies in Red Bloon Camp. The Arena introduces Bloon Mods and leagues, which are the primary form of promotion. The top 15 players in a league are promoted to White Wasteland. It is impossible to demote to Red Bloon Camp once entered.
Yellow Stadium is the first arena to be found in Clan Wars, costing 100 medallions to enter and rewarding 200 medallions on a win.
White Wasteland

The White Wasteland is the third arena, unlocked upon promoting from a League in Yellow Stadium. The top 10 players in a league are promoted to Lead Dungeon.
New tougher maps such as Basalt Columns and Glade are introduced into the map rotation. Players receive 5% more Tower XP for playing in this arena.
White Wasteland is the second arena to be found in Clan Wars, costing 200 medallions to enter and rewarding 400 medallions on a win.
Lead Dungeon

The Lead Dungeon is the fourth arena, unlocked upon promoting from a League in White Wasteland. The top 10 players in a league are promoted to Ceramic Crucible.
New tougher maps such as Pirate Cove and Bot Factory are introduced into the map rotation. Players receive 8% more Tower XP for playing in this arena.
Lead Dungeon is the third arena to be found in Clan Wars, costing 500 medallions to enter and rewarding 1000 medallions on a win.
Ceramic Crucible

The Ceramic Crucible is the fifth arena, unlocked upon promoting from a League in Lead Dungeon. The top 10 players in a league are promoted to MOAB Pit.
Notably, this is the first arena in which losing games incurs a Trophy penalty of -1. Players receive 10% more Tower XP for playing in this arena.
MOAB Pit

The MOAB Pit is the sixth arena, unlocked from promoting from a League in Ceramic Crucible. The top 10 players in a league are promoted to BFB Colosseum.
Players receive 15% more Tower XP for playing in this arena.
Lead Dungeon is the fourth arena to be found in Clan Wars, costing 1000 medallions to enter and rewarding 2000 medallions on a win.
BFB Colosseum

The BFB Colosseum is the seventh arena, unlocked from promoting from a League in MOAB Pit. The top 5 players in a league are promoted to ZOMG Superdome.
Docks is removed from the map pool. Players receive 15% more Tower XP for playing in this arena.
ZOMG Superdome

The ZOMG Superdome is the eighth arena, unlocked from promoting from a League in BFB Colosseum. The top 5 players in a league are promoted to the Hall of Masters.
New tougher maps, namely Ports and Inflection are added, while easier maps such as Bloontonium Mines and Thin Ice are removed from the map pool. Players incur a loss penalty of -3 trophies, and receive 15% more Tower XP for playing in this arena.
Lead Dungeon is the fifth and final arena to be found in Clan Wars, costing 2000 medallions to enter and rewarding 4000 medallions on a win.
Hall of Masters

The Hall of Masters is the ninth and final arena, unlocked from promoting from a League in ZOMG Superdome. Players are introduced to a global leaderboard and an MMR system where matches against opponents affect their score on the leaderboard. There is no additional promotions or Fast Track system, so players can only demote or stay in this arena.
Mayan and Up On The Roof are removed from the map pool. Players receive 15% more Tower XP for playing in this arena. Medals are split based on placement on the season's leaderboard.
