| At first, the Monkey Beacon only buffs tower [[range]] by a small amount, but as it gets upgraded, it gains the ability to buff [[attack speed]] as well. In ''[[Bloons TD 4]]'', it also has an upgrade that grants towers the ability to target [[Camo Bloon (BTD4)|Camo Bloons]]. Its ultimate upgrade in both of its appearances is one that calls the [[Super Monkey Storm]], wiping every non-[[MOAB-Class Bloon]] off the screen for a somewhat hefty price (with a cooldown in ''BTD4'', making it a precursor to the [[Activated Ability]] mechanic).
