Difficulty will vary depending on distance from the city center, but level 3-5 Monkey Knowledge is recommended.

The player will need lots of grouped popping power as many early game rushes of Regens, Rainbows and Ceramics can appear early. As a result, Glaive Ricochet and Cluster Bombs are almost essential, and Bionic Boomerang is a good starting tower, with Burny Stuff as early game support against Regen Bloons. The player can also use a 1/3 Glue Hose at the front to slow down Bloons (and Ceramics once the layer is cracked). Past round 10, it's recommended to use some money on 2/3 MOAB Maulers to prepare for grouped MOABs.

Place the defense so that the track works to the players advantage, as the first and final lines will slow down any Bloons nearby, they are the perfect spots to set up. Bionic Boomerang should be placed as left as possible of the first bend without breaking the angle, but keep in mind that Regen Bloons have time to regenerate if left alone after this. Time the sandstorm ability to deal with rushes that cannot be handled yet due to lacking defense. Players may need to retry the mission to find these problematic rounds.
