Ball Lightning (BTD6): Difference between revisions

m Added a little. Then I realized "what the heck is this upgrade doing". It's anti-stall. The damage for the price is awful.

Strategy: the lightningball freeze is kinda worth mentioning but again it has issues and is totally not for stalling. It's for control.

Ball Lightning is a decent mid-game tower for both support and damage, controlling<!--"stalling" is the wrong word--> and popping Bloons that follow its path. However, multiple T3 Druid of the Storms are generally more versatile for blowback despite the more cost-efficient blowback of the T4. Ball Lightning can serve as questionable clean-up against non-MOAB class, Purple Bloons, or Camo Bloons. The Ball is antithetical for the purpose of prolonging rounds to use abilities.

Ball Lightning's lightning balls can be used for dealing general damage to any non-Purple when placed along straight lines, however the ball is antithetical for the purpose of prolonging rounds to use abilities. The lightning ball freeze benefits Bloon control especially with Cold Front's zap freezes, but remains not enough to be a proper stall tower, and its slow attack speed and reliance on straight lines on CHIMPS prevents it from working on many map formats.
