Strategy: we already talking about spiked mines as a transitionary tower, 3-2-0 is better on shorter maps more specifically. also did some more adjustments and flowing to make it seem less like "this is all crap" and more like "there's some damn serious weaknesses right here". Also, the meta for sceramic cleanup is either a T5 like solver or something like blimpact for bomb-specific defenses; the days of cryo spalls is no more. Can't find a similar cheap SCeramic popper that isn't a staller

Spiked Balls is mediocre as a mid or late game cleanup. Before round 81, an unbuffed Spiked Balls is less cost-efficient than a base Spike Factory with Berserker Brew. Buffing Spiked Balls with Berserker Brew will make it more powerful, but this setup is so expensive for cleanup that it will delay any saveup. Therefore it is not a worthwhile option at all unless upgrading to Spiked Mines, which becomes the mid game carry itself. It also performs poorly against Super Ceramics, taking 1.5 piles (0.85 with Berserker Brew) to pop each one and costing much more than other options.
Spiked Balls is mediocre as a mid or late game cleanup, being preferred as a stepping stone to Spiked Mines, which becomes the mid game carry itself. Before round 81, an unbuffed Spiked Balls is less cost-efficient than a base Spike Factory with Berserker Brew. An Alch-buffed Spiked Balls is still powerful, but the combination will greatly delay saveup into other towers. It's more effective against Super Ceramics, but is much less pierce-sufficient than similar costing supports, such as Juggernaut, Cryo Cannon, and Bloon Impact; each Super Ceramic requires 1.5 piles to pop each one, 0.85 with Berserker Brew.

Both crosspaths have their own use cases. 3-2-0 is better if building into Spiked Mines, while 3-0-2 is more useful for defending multiple or intersecting exits.
