Ice King

Ice King is a short range high DPS character that is effectively a combination of the Ice Monkey and Tack Shooter that, at level 7, can also freeze MOABs through Big Freeze. His main weakness is his short range and poor ally choice, making him a bad choice in Martian Games but very strong for farming Impoppable.

Like most DPS characters, Ice King wants attack speed and MOAB damage, but because his Ice Bolts cannot be buffed by any attack bonuses, non-specific damage buffs have nearly no effect on his DPS. Baker's Shard is the most important attack speed trinkets for him, while his weapon should be Cherry Blossom Wand as it gives lots of attack speed, although he cannot take advantage of its bonus damage. Engineers Blueprints is practically essential for boosting his DPS, and Arrow of Ice lets him unlock Arrows of Frozen Rain, one of the few ways of buffing his raw damage and range. Another character should use Cursed Ice Ring so that his attack speed is buffed even further, alongside the usual suite of attack speed buffs.
