→Strategy: buckshock (yes nk said this) is favored due to better raw dps and focused firing with less spread and dishing damage out to the aimed target. Lower tiers like 220 and 202 are decent but kinda pricy, but still great value on lowertier dartlings due to better single-target damage. Hydra shock sucks because the shocks dont do bonus damage and only apply on the missiles themselves without bonus shockeds, also mad joke

Laser Shock adds extra damage if consecutively hitting a bloon, thanks to the extra shocked damage plus DoT. It's decent on lower-tier Dartlings, both with 2-2-0 and 2-0-2, which have improved single-target damage. Middle-path Dartlings don't benefit much from Laser Shock, as the extra shocked damage is absent. Bottom-path Dartlings gain more bonus shocked damage (plus DoT damage), which allow this path to favor the Laser Shock crosspath for focused high damage.
Laser Shock improves Dartling's single-target damage, being helpful on lower-tiers due to the cost-efficient stat bonuses it receives, and beneficial for raw DPS on bottom path in combination with focused buckshots via [[Focused Firing (BTD6)|Focused Firing]]. It's less favorable on middle path Dartlings, as the extra shocked damage is absent.
