Fighter Plane is the Monkey Ace's path 1 tier 3 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It increases the Monkey Ace's flight speed by 20% and adds a new attack which fires twin missiles that can only target and damage MOAB-Class Bloons. The missiles are shot out every 3 seconds and only while MOAB-Class Bloons are present on screen, each dealing 18 damage with 4 pierce. They also home in towards their targets and can rapidly accelerate and turn during flight. The missiles cannot damage Black Bloons, and therefore cannot damage DDTs on their own.

Strategy

Fighter Plane is a decent long-range method of dispatching early MOABs for cheap, though it is more expensive than MOAB Mauler while having inferior damage and deficient pierce. Thus, it is relegated to maps with abundant obstacles, where other MOAB-damage options fall behind. Crosspathing is generally not needed, as the Exploding Pineapple's missile bonus only offers slightly more pierce and radius, and Spy Plane is only needing when fighting Phayze.
