:Sorry, I didn't expect that to be a problem.
:I am curious, how are we supposed to go about adding the towers' stats in this case? I did get the data from the fandom wiki, but I avoided copy-pasting any text and typed it all myself, so I thought it'd be fine. It'd seem weird to have to re-discover the stats when they're already publicly available, so what should I do? [[User:Slaith|Slaith]] ([[User talk:Slaith|talk]]) 02:03, 30 January 2026 (UTC)

Qualityy Soil and Discounts

Where are you getting $2450 from as the expected marketplace price? In both calculations and in game it costs $2520, because $3500 multiplied byy 0.8 for quality soil, then multiplied by 0.9 for a 001 village discount is not $2450. The numbers do line up. Discounts in this game stack additively, so with quality soil and the village discount, you'd have a 20%+10% = 30% discount. Looking at the plantation prices shows this. With the quality soil upgrade and a 001 village, that upgrade costs $1925 (2750*0.7), as opposed to $1980 (2750*0.8*0.9). If this same pattern applied to the marketplace, it would cost $2450 (3500*0.7), not $2520. Slaith (talk) 22:05, 3 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
Okay, you're correct on this being in the current version of the game, so I will not revert the price edits made to the upgrade pages. However, I do have proof of it working like this on launch, and it seems like they patched out this behavior in 4.4 due to the patch notes stating that there was a bug where the prices would show incorrectly.
At 35:18 on the following video, a Temple is purchased with support sacrifices, which is a 5% discount, which makes the quality soil appear as $285 for a few frames, before changing to $225. This is in line with discounts being additive, too. I'm going to adjust the update pages accordingly where on launch they are the increased price, then on 4.4 they are then lowered in price to the amount we see today.
