Ancient Portal is a middle-of-the-road Intermediate. This is due to being a single-lane map, the long length of the top-right to bottom-left path, the flexibility of strategy options due to the interchangeable lanes, the bends on the top-right & bottom-left, the wide coverage of the top-right & bottom-right achieved by towers between them, and the pedestals' powerful buffs to heroes. Ancient Portal can be beaten with relative ease using general guidelines below.
