Essence Of Bloonarius is a Legendary Artifact in the Rogue Legends DLC for Bloons TD 6. It grants towers upgraded to tier 3 or lower double pierce, 50% more damage, and a separate 50% damage bonus to MOAB-Class Bloons (for a total of +125% more damage to MOAB-Class) but in exchange, it increases the attack cooldown of tier 4 or higher by 20%, resulting in a reduction of 17% of their attack speed. It can only be obtained by defeating Bloonarius on a Final Boss tile.
Like all Boss Artifacts, this has a cost of 18 Artifact Power, so players cannot equip it as an Starting Artifact unless they have bought all the levels of the Starting Artifact Power upgrade from the Rogue XP Shop.

Essence Of Bloonarius is one of the most powerful artifacts on Rogue Legends, as the entire strategy of a campaign can rely on this Artifact as it provides an immense boost to the lower tier monkeys allowing for both a powerful and cheap defenses. It also excels in clearing Least Cash Mini Games with Legendary scores.
This Artifact does not really hinder the player's ability to use higher tier towers as the attack speed drop can be offset by using a Quickening Artifact or Boost, but Tier 4 towers are usually weaker than their boosted Tier 3 counterparts unless the player has Essence Of Dreadbloon and several stat boost Artifacts, so it is recommended that if the strategy is based on the Tier 3 towers, skip Tier 4s entirely and go straight for the Tier 5s.
The most useful towers that can be paired with this artifact include Destroyer, Hydra Rocket Pods, Dragon's Breath, Druid of Wrath, Velociraptor, or any of the Super Monkey Tier 3 upgrades, with Sun Avatar being the most powerful tower that is affected by this Artifact. Also, if the player has decided on a single tower (or category) to build their defense around, it is recommended to pick up Unification, Conscription, Monkey Academy or Master of all Trades to grant them buffs from other category-specific Artifacts as the Tier 3 towers cannot be affected by Essence Of Dreadbloon.
